Panelists discuss the concrete actions that we can do as individuals and organizations to diversify our workforce.

  1. Oct 19 – A Friday morning panel of leaders focused on the concrete steps that needed to to put more leaders of color in positions over the next decade.
  2. Panelists Zarina J. Durrani (Director, Diversity Initiatives, The Brookings Institution), Edward Gonzales-Novoa (Executive Director, New York Public Allies), James R. McGirt (Manager of Education Programs, Project Learning Tree and the American Forest Foundation, NUF Class of 2005) and David Shuffler (Executive Director, Youth Ministries for Peace and Justice) discussed what we need to do as individuals and as institutions to incorporate unheard voices and perspectives.
